Step into the middle of the stack (unless it’s too tall of course), pick up the top section facing the hooks and step out of the stack. The balance point changes with leg length, but you’ll find it easily, we promise. Although you could unfold the legs here and carry it that way straight out to its hookup, we recommend leaving the legs folded as that lowers the center of gravity and makes the section easier to control if it leans forward or backward. Of course once you own the pier you can do it whichever way you desire. We wouldn’t presume to tell a 300 lb Iron-man that he can’t carry his pier any way he likes. We’re flexible that way.
