One aspect of our dock system that new customers are often skeptical about, naturally, is whether they will really be able to pull a section out of whatever it’s standing in. It’s the same aspect about which those customers are most pleasantly surprised in the fall. Consider that what the bottom material “sees” is just an edge-on blade and only one to four inches of streamlined pipe. That’s a whole lot less than 60 – 100 square inches of plate trying to muscle it’s way straight up. And remember, just lifting the shore end of the section begins the process of softening up the material directly in front of the footpad.
