The following warranty is taken from our standard Purchase Agreement. You’ll note that it is presented here in non-fine print.
Pier of d’Nort warrants that the items sold herewith are free from substantive defects in workmanship and materials for a period of 15 years, except plain cedar deck panels, for which the warranty will be for a period of 5 years. Pier of d’Nort’s liability under this warranty is limited to replacement of the purchased item/s or repair of the defects, or refund of the purchase price at Pier of d’Nort’s sole option. Transportation and shipping charges will be paid for by the Buyer except for aluminum frames, which will be repaired, replaced, or their purchase price refunded on site by Pier of d’Nort. Pier of d’Nort shall have the right to determine abuse to the purchased item/s, or normal weathering in the case of cedar deck panels, and charge the Buyer accordingly. Buyer must make any claims to Pier of d’Nort Corp. 6035 Hwy 70 East, St. Germain, WI 54558 on or before 15 years, or 5 years in the case of cedar deck panels, from the date of acceptance of the purchased item/s by the Buyer. This warranty is not transferable to another person unless that person uses the purchased item/s in the same location as was last used by the Buyer, and then only if used there for a period of at least one season. Modifications to the purchased item/s, unless made by Pier of d’Nort, may void this warranty at Seller’s sole option. This warranty is the only warranty applicable to the purchased item/s. No other warranty, including, but not limited to, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, exists with respect to the purchased item/s.
